Don Barr Receives National Award

Congratulations to Donald L. Barr, President of DB Homes, who will be honored with the Guthrie Award from the Huntington’s Disease Society of America. Mr. Barr will receive the Guthrie Community Service Award at the Society’s 40th Anniversary Guthrie Awards Dinner to be held Thursday October 18, at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. HDSA promotes and supports research directed at discovering effective treatments and ultimately, a cure for HD. The society also provides services and resources to those affected by HD. Past winners of Guthrie Awards are Hank Aaron, Tim Robbins and Dana Reeve.
